SolarKing’s solar-powered bollard lighting system is designed to provide lighting along walkways and general area lighting. Using the latest in LED technology, the system is rugged and reliable and can be configured to meet a wide- variety of lighting needs. Using square-steel tubing for the bollards makes the system very vandalism-resistant.
System Components
- Solar-module (size varies depending on number of bollards and bollard-lights)
- Solar-module rack and pole (typical pole height puts the solar module approximately 17’ above-grade)
- Morningstar Sunlight 10L system controller
- Battery (size varies depending on solar-module size and number of bollards and bollard-lights)
- Battery and controller enclosure typically mounted above ground in NEMA 3 enclosure or at-grade/below-grade in SolarKing’s patented underground-battery-container (flood/water proof)
- Bollards – typically made from 4”x4” steel tubing, powder-coated dark-bronze; typical height is 30” above-grade
- LED Light Bricks – 2 flush-mounted LED light bricks per bollard (each light brick with 6 LEDs)
